Painting series, mixed media on canvas specially with medical bandages, various formats, 2018
This series of paintings questions the state and amorality of socio-political games and their destructive consequences on populations. It also addresses the issues of gender, sexuality, and the ignorance of female bodies due to gender inequality, which still exists in all our societies.
Through the symbol of bloody bandages on maps and flags, I deeply wish for the healing of the wounds of this world and its populations, as a hope that refuses to fade despite injustices, wars, and violence. It is a desperate attempt to heal this bleeding world.
