Painting series, mixed media on canvas, different sizes, since 2005

In the series of mixed media paintings on canvas titled “The Other World,” the helical curved lines create a sense of infinity and bring to life a strange and unsettling universe. These moving lines, within a colorful yet dark composition, exude a powerful visual energy.

For me, these paintings represent gateways to another world, a world beyond death or a parallel realm. They were created after the loss of my father, during a time of profound sadness. I remember painting in absolute darkness.
