photographies, different formats, color,
This series of self-portrait photographs was conceived to be shared on social media, in the urgency of defending essential causes: women’s rights, state violence against protesters, executions, and violence against women in Iran. My body, as that of an Iranian woman, becomes both a witness and a medium of resistance—intimate and collective.
These photographs, accompanied by hashtags such as #WomanLifeFreedom, #NoToExecution, and #NoToRepublicIslamicInIran, are part of a universal struggle for freedom and justice. Each image serves as a visual chronicle, a cry against oppression, and a call to amplify the silenced voices.
In the digital age, our profiles become true walls of expression, akin to the walls of cities where graffiti and posters convey messages of resistance and protest.
