A body<\/strong> appears, disappears, and resists. It is wrapped, fragmented, immersed in nature, covered with words, or traversed by archival images. This body, often my own, becomes the space where intimate experience<\/strong> meets collective memory<\/strong>. Through it, I explore the traces that political contexts, cultural legacies, and social norms inscribe upon our lives, while questioning how we inhabit the world and relate to the living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My practice unfolds across painting<\/strong>, photography<\/strong>, video<\/strong>, and performance<\/strong>. Each medium engages a different relationship to the body and to time: photography retains a trace; video works through repetition, erasure, and return; performance exposes presence and vulnerability; painting extends the image into matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bandages, blood, earth, water, and night form a recurring and ambivalent vocabulary. What heals can also immobilise; the earth connects us to origins as much as it threatens to engulf us. Trees, flowers, and animals open this inquiry onto a broader relationship with the living world, its fragility as well as its strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I incorporate document<\/strong>s and archival images <\/strong>into my works, projecting them onto the body, fragmenting them, or superimposing them onto my own images. Through these processes, I explore how political and historical events<\/strong> become inscribed in bodies and memories, through injury, silence, fear, and forms of resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the individual body<\/strong> to the collective body,<\/strong> from the female body<\/strong> to the living world <\/strong>as a whole, I search for what remains when freedom or existence are made fragile: a trace, a gesture, a presence that refuses to disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un corps<\/strong> appara\u00eet, dispara\u00eet et r\u00e9siste. Il est envelopp\u00e9, fragment\u00e9, immerg\u00e9 dans la nature, recouvert de mots ou travers\u00e9 par des images d\u2019archives. Ce corps, souvent le mien, devient l\u2019espace o\u00f9 une exp\u00e9rience intime<\/strong> rencontre une m\u00e9moire collective<\/strong>. \u00c0 travers lui, j\u2019explore les traces que les contextes politiques, les h\u00e9ritages culturels et les normes sociales inscrivent dans nos existences, tout en interrogeant notre mani\u00e8re d\u2019habiter le monde et de nous relier au vivant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ma pratique se d\u00e9ploie entre la peinture,<\/strong> la photographie<\/strong>, la vid\u00e9o<\/strong> et la performance<\/strong>. Chaque m\u00e9dium engage une relation diff\u00e9rente au corps et au temps : la photographie retient une trace ; la vid\u00e9o travaille la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition, l\u2019effacement et le retour ; la performance expose la pr\u00e9sence et la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 ; la peinture prolonge l\u2019image dans la mati\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les bandages, le sang, la terre, l\u2019eau et la nuit forment un vocabulaire r\u00e9current et ambivalent. Ce qui soigne peut aussi immobiliser ; la terre relie \u00e0 l\u2019origine autant qu\u2019elle menace d\u2019engloutir. Les arbres, les fleurs et les animaux ouvrent cette recherche \u00e0 une relation plus vaste au vivant, \u00e0 sa fragilit\u00e9 comme \u00e0 sa force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u2019int\u00e8gre \u00e0 mes \u0153uvres des documents<\/strong> et des images d\u2019archives<\/strong> que je projette sur le corps, fragmente ou superpose \u00e0 mes propres images. \u00c0 travers ces op\u00e9rations, j\u2019explore la mani\u00e8re dont les \u00e9v\u00e9nements politiques et historiques<\/strong> s\u2019inscrivent dans les corps et les m\u00e9moires, \u00e0 travers la blessure, le silence, la peur et les formes de r\u00e9sistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Du corps individuel <\/strong>au corps collectif<\/strong>, du corps f\u00e9minin<\/strong> \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble du vivant<\/strong>, je cherche ce qui subsiste lorsque la libert\u00e9 ou l\u2019existence sont fragilis\u00e9es : une trace, un geste, une pr\u00e9sence qui refuse de dispara\u00eetre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
